Benefits of Participation

Mentees

Mentees (first year students) participating in this program will have the opportunity to connect with successful alumni, receive guidance on navigating the IOMP program, strengthen existing professional networks, obtain career-related advice, and learn skills related to effective mentoring. A certificate of completion will be provided after program completion.

Mentors

Mentors will receive mentor training and have access to a mentoring toolkit, receive the intrinsic benefits that come with mentoring others, and receive recognition as UGA IOMP Mentor of Excellence at program completion.
